Delete your account and data

This page is only for people who voluntarily created a ReadEden Account. If you use the Application without an Account, we do not keep your journal in the cloud and there is no Account to delete.

The quickest way is in ReadEden: open Settings → Delete account and confirm the request.

If you cannot access the Application, email kontakt@readeden.com from the address used for your Account. We may ask you to verify that the Account belongs to you.

What we delete

We delete your Account, synced reading journal, cloud settings and files assigned to the Account, except information we must keep to comply with law or establish and defend legal claims.

Deleting an Account does not automatically remove copies stored locally on every device. Clear local data separately in Settings or by uninstalling the Application. It also does not cancel a Google Play subscription, which must be cancelled in Google Play.
